Yes. Telehealth appointments are available for patients throughout Florida, as long as you are physically in Florida during the visit.
Horizon offers psychiatric evaluations and ongoing support for anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, insomnia, and other mental health concerns. Your appointment is a place to discuss what you are experiencing and the support that may fit.
Yes. Psychotherapy may be part of your individualized care plan, with medication support available when clinically appropriate.
When clinically appropriate, medication management can be part of an individualized treatment plan.
When clinically appropriate and within the provider’s scope of practice, medication may be part of an individualized treatment plan. Your visit is a place to discuss options, questions, and follow-up before deciding on next steps.
Yes. Horizon offers secure telepsychiatry appointments for Florida patients. You must be physically located in Florida at the time of your visit.
Initial psychiatric evaluations are typically 60 minutes. Follow-up appointment length is based on your individual treatment plan and needs.
Yes. Horizon provides virtual psychiatric care for patients ages 4 to 100. Care for children and teens is planned with appropriate family involvement.
Horizon accepts insurance and also offers self-pay options. Visit the Billing page or contact Horizon to confirm current coverage, costs, and appointment availability.
Telepsychiatry can be an effective option for many mental health needs when virtual care is appropriate for the patient and concern. Your provider will help determine the right next step for your situation.
Treatment is individualized. Some patients may discuss medication management, while others may benefit from psychotherapy, referrals, or a combination of supports. Your provider will talk through options that fit your needs.
