Your voice belongs in every decision.

When symptoms are affecting your mood, focus, sleep, or daily life, medication can be one part of a thoughtful treatment plan. The conversation starts with your experience, not a rushed checklist.

At Horizon, you can discuss current medications, concerns, past experiences, and what you want to feel differently. Together, you and your provider can consider appropriate options and a follow-up plan that feels clear and realistic.

Frequently asked questions

Before you book.

What is psychiatric medication management?

Medication management is an ongoing part of psychiatric care that may include reviewing symptoms, current medications, goals, benefits, side effects, and the next appropriate step together.

What happens at the first appointment?

Your first 60-minute evaluation is a private conversation about what you are experiencing, your health history, current medications, and what you hope will change. There is time to ask questions before discussing options.

Can I meet with a medication management provider online?

Yes. Horizon offers secure video appointments for patients who are physically located in Florida at the time of their visit.

Will medication be the only option discussed?

Not necessarily. Medication may be part of a plan when clinically appropriate, and psychotherapy or other support can also be discussed based on your needs and goals.

How often are follow-up appointments?

Follow-up timing is based on your individual plan. Visits create space to discuss how you are feeling, any concerns or side effects, and whether your plan still fits.

Need urgent help?

Horizon Telepsychiatry is not an emergency service. If you are in immediate danger or feel unable to stay safe, call 911, go to the nearest emergency room, or call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
